If the Department of Health considers that the issue raised is a matter for Minister Mary Butler (Minister of State with responsibility for Mental Health and Older People) or Minister Hildegarde Naughton (Minister of State with responsibility for Public Health, Wellbeing and the National Drugs Strategy), your correspondence will be transferred internally to the appropriate Minister of State for attention and direct reply to you. If the Department of Health considers that the issue raised is more appropriate to an external body under the aegis of the Department of Health, including for example the HSE, then your correspondence will be shared with the relevant body for attention and direct reply to you.
